What a sports day!

It all started with a drive to Painted Woods for the first Golf of the year.

Hunter, Luke, and I met Hubie and played 18. I had some trouble but hit enough good shots to keep me going.

The course isn't in great shape and they'd aerated the greens 10 days ago, but it gave me some good excuses.

Tonight we traveled to Mandan to watch the State Class B baseball championship which was one by my old school Bishop Ryan for the third consecutive year. The Lions squandered some early opportunities and found themselves down 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth. They scratched out 4 runs (including scoring on the old "men on first and third double steal trick"). When the dust had settled BRHS had a 4-3 victory.

This final picture is of Trevor, who is Tami's niece's new husband, and an assistant coach and History teacher at Ryan.

Dakota United defeats Red River to go to Regional

Hunter's U15 team beat Fargo 4-2 on Sunday afternoon in Jamestown to earn the right to represent North Dakota at the regional in Sioux Falls in June. Here are a couple of candids:

Luke and Will have a tournament in Fargo the same weekend so Tami may take Hunter to Sioux Falls while I take the younger boys to Fargo.
